Overview

Icarus VR is a virtual reality game that has fast-paced gun shooting and skill-based bow and arrow mechanics. Players compete in sky islands, each with its own unique features and challenges. The game offers a variety of game modes, such as Target Frenzy, Quick Draw, and Archery, each having a server-side leaderboard.

Install instructions

Our game is supported for the Meta Quest 2. The build may work with the regular Meta Quest, but there are known issues when running it on that hardware. 

Download and Install Instructions

  1. Once downloaded, unzip the folder named "WorldSportsVR.zip"
    1. Inside, you should see a single .apk file
  2. Make sure your Meta Quest 2 is in Developer Mode
  3. Install SideQuest, which is used to sideload .apk files onto Meta Quest devices. Make sure to use the SideQuest advanced installer. 
  4. Connect your Meta Quest device to your computer using the cable it comes with, or a Meta Link Cable.
  5. On the top bar of the SideQuest application, look for an option to "Install APK file from a folder on the computer". Follow the instructions provided by SideQuest.
  6.  World Sports VR should be installed on your Meta Quest device after SideQuest says "all tasks are completed!"
    1.  Note: if the game is already installed on your headset, you must delete it before reinstalling it.
  7.  Navigate to the Unknown Sources" section of your Meta Quest applications inside of the headset, and launch the title that says "Unity VR"
